many people fail to realize the importance of drinking lots of water and how it helps you in so many ways.
1. it keeps you hydrated feeling refreshed 2. if you drink a glass or two before you eat a meal it helps you feel less hungry (great for dieting mylotters)3. helps reduce acne 4. cleanses your bladder, if you drink enough you will see your urine is completely clear as if you are urinating water! 5. it is cheaper. even though you might have to take extra trips to the bathroom, you will reap benifits. i know i forgot some points, anyone have anything else?

I've been dehydrated before and it's worse than anything.. So yeah I think you pretty much covered everything!! Great post too!

yea that would be a good idea to keep hydrated on hot days, especially when doing some outside activity, exercising or working out. I have heard that water helps increase your metabolism but i am not entirely sure. thanks for the kind words!

I did not know about the acne. I wish I did, because I had it really bad as a teenager, but I know about the others. I really should drink more but I get too busy. You have given us all the points and without scaring the living daylights out of us either as some myLotters have.

The color of your urine as far as being clear just means that you are well hydrated. Whether or not you drink tea, soda or water, your liver will filter out the different colors. This is why you don't pea orange water if you drink orange soda.

I do know the importance of water and particularly drinking enough amounts of water but I find it really hard to reach the recpmmended 8-12 glasses a day.
Like today, I had 4-5 glasses and I had to exert considerable effort just to reach that.
Any tips to reach at least 8 glasses a day?

yes i do in fact, have try to have 2 or maybe more glasses per meal. in between each meal you can have a glass or two, and it is really easy to reach the desired ammount. Of course you don't have to drink 8-12 glasses at one time, that is pretty difficult.
