Does the Good Guy Really Finish Last?

I guess we have all heard the old saying, "good guys finish last." Well, do they? I like to think that being good... in other words, moral and good to others... pays off in the end. I certainly try to be a good gal to others and I hope for the same in return. But I have to admit, that in this world it does sometimes seem that the ones who make it to the top have to be cut throat, or step on someone else to get there. What do you think? Do good guys (and girls) really finish last?
