How many of you men on here can tie a tie, or is this art becoming lost in the world of clip ons and zips?

I can tie a tie. I can also tie a bow tie. It is amazing how many people can't tie a bow tie. It is so easy.

Yes, I find that it is like tying a shoe, I have to admit that you do not look like the kind of person to know how to tie one, let alone ever wear one.

PS... I would never embarass myself by wearing a clip on, snap or one of those velcro things.

Secretly, I wish I could go back in time and kill the man who invented clip on's, then everyone wouldbe forced to learn to tie one. You should get more use out of your bow ties, it is a shame to see them sitting in a closet somewhere.

I would never dream of even considering a clip on of any kind, I think they are childish and tacky, they say I am only wearing this because someone made me. I mostly only wear bowties like you, but could tie a neck kind if I had to.
