We have 3 same movies on our list! I'm childish at heart too but I wasn't very entertained by shrek 3. I'm not a super action fan also. I know Die Hard is a good movie, but not on my list. Thanks for sharing.

Well my list is much shorter, the only movie I have seen this year that was worth the money would be Wild Hogz. Ratatouille wasn't bad but a step below the normal Pixar fare. Harry Potter also wasn't bad but it is developing a repetitive feel. Spiderman 3 and FF 2 were major disappointments for me, both were very badly written in my book. Evan Allmighty stands out as the worst movie I have seen this year.

Really? Well, its nice to know these things. I just included these movies because I was entertained and the action was good -- I don't dwell so much on the plot of the story. That would be too much to expect. We would end more disappointed if we expect much, so i just enjoy what i watch. Thanks for sharing. I wont watch Evan Almighty then.

Well now easy. remember this is just one old man's crazed opinion. The great thing about movies is they cover a wide range of interests and we are all different (boy am I different!). I respect your choices, I just feel differently. I am a pro wrestling fan, you know my taste can be questionable at times.;)

I haven't seen any of these yet...but I am a big Harry Potter fan. I have his books but prefer to watch the movies b/c so much is different between the book and the movie.
Also I have found that I have odd taste when it comes to movies...movies that other ppl really didn't care for or didn't like...I do. But like one mylotter said each person has their own tastes.

hey, im a big harry potter fan too. Just don't expect much from the movie. It will never be able to come close to the book. We do have to understand that it is difficult to make the book's events a reality. Don't expect much to avoid disappointment. Enjoy the movie. The other movies are also fun. When you get the time, do watch them to unwind. Thanks.

Really? You found Harry Potter and Fantastic 4 bad? You probably read the book 5 of HP. You will really be disappointed because a lot of things were not included. Or you probably just have a high standard of movies. For me, if I enjoy the movie, they're good enough for me. A lot of action would usually entertain me already. O but Transformers is really a great one. The animation was amazing! Hope you'll enjoy it and hope you can give us your top 5 list. Thanks.

Mine would be those who are still upcoming, movies and films which are much-awaited.
My first movie would be Adam Sandler's "Reign Over Me," together with Don cheadle. I believe this one's a good movie, since Mr. Sandler's rare opportunity to take on drama. The second one for me is the movie, "Blades of Glory" with Jon Heder and Will Ferrell. My third choice is, "Rush Hour 3" the third installment of Jackie Chan's and Chris Tucker's hillarious hit action-comedy film. Fourth would be, "Balls of Fury" with Christopher Walken. And the last one would be, Josh Hartnett's "30 Days of Night."
I mostly watch comedy films, that to which makes me feel more relaxed when seeing them on theaters!;)

There are many movies that have been released this year. I really can't pick the top five because almost all are impressive but here goes my pick. My top pick is TRansformers, second is Spiderman, third is Bourne Ultimatum, Fantastic Four and last is Ratouille. I don't find Harry Potter that impressive. I'd rather read the book than watch the incomplete scenes of the movie version.
