How Do You Make New Friends

I am a sort of a newly separated soon to be divorced woman, and am looking for new friends that don't know the old me. You know like the friends that knew you and your husband and they keep harping on your problems that you are trying to forget and just move on. So anyone out here in the internet looking for a new friend, cause I could sure use a good friend to do things with and have good times and maybe a few bad times with. How do you meet new people, you know like people you can trust and be there for you and you for them. All I seem to do is work and sleep and maybe eat every once and a while. I bet I lost close to 80 pounds in the last year. I'm not sure if it was from nerves or the medication that I was taking last year. I have stopped taking all the meds now, I am tired of being tired all the time. I would love to meet new people. Does anyone know the ingredients to making new friends? Now I have made friends at work but what about outside of work. I know that life is not all about all work and no play. I live in the Ephrata area, if there is anybody out there looking for a good friend I am here just awaiting to hear from you.
