married and sharing the money togehter or every partner his own bank account?

if you are married or live together with your partner in your home, do you have one single bank account, because you think now all belongs together or you still want that every partner has its very own money and bank account and freedom to buy what he wants without telling?

If you own a house and a car and a lot of others things together it's only natural to have a shared account :-)
