I Finally read Half Blood Prince.......

I finally did it, I stopped procrastinating and read it! It wasnt as jammed packed as I had thought it might be. But I guess that after The Order of the Phoenix being so busy and full of action that they needed a bit of a break, and probualy the calm before the storm. (PLEASE no spoilers on the Deathly Hallows) I havent secured my copy of the final book yet so am unable to read it. :(
I now cant wait to get it and read it. More so I think I am going to go back and re-read The Order of the Phoenix. I still cant believe that Dumbledoor is dead! And that since Deathly Hallows is now out in circulation after I read it there will be no more Harry Potter!!!

I haven't read all of the Deathly Hallows yet but so far it's a good book. I hated the way The Half Blood Prince ended. I hated to see Dombldure gone but I guess she wrote it this way for a reason.

Yeah it ended sad it made me cry for a good while once I finished it last year. I am going to re- read it over once I am finished with The Deathly Hallows. I re-read The Order of Phinex again before I got Deathly Hallows and I have started reading the Half Blood Prince again some.

I too didnt like the way Half Blood Prince ended either but as you said she had to have done it for a reason right. And the end of the book left so much room there for pretty much anything to happen. I was in shock though that there was no battle with Voldemort(shuttering at the mention of the name)LOL himself All the other ones Harry had a go around with him in one way or another and in Half Blood he just fights with his henchmen.

i got my copy of Deathly Hallows but now i find myself hesitant to read it knowing that it is the final book and there will be no more. im very saddened by this

congrats on fisnishing half blood prince. trust me deathly hallows is great, i fishinshed it 2 days after it was out. now i am sad cause the books are over with lol. my hubby laghs at me. i wont tell you about the next books but it is really good. it ties alot of stuff togehter too. the ending though leaves alot of what happened to who. i hear she will put out a books just to let everyone know what happened to each person. i dont know though i hope so lol. happy reading

Thanks!!! I cant wait to read the Deathly Hallows. I think that it would be awesome if she did write something about the aftermath of all them and what happens to them. I cant wait to find out if she is really doing this.

Hi,
Yes...I have totally enjoyed this series. I think J.K. Rowling did an amazing job with it all. The movies are great as well. If I were you, I would go back and read the Order of the Phoenix before I tackled the final book.
