The glucose tolerance test we all love.
With my daughter I had to take the 1 hour and 3 hour test. I was given the orange flavored sugar solution both times, which I call a "flat sunkist".
With this pregnancy I failed the 1 hour again and recently had to go in for the 3 hour(haven't received those results yet but i'm not worried). I was given my flat sunkist for the 1 hour but for the 3 hour they gave me this very sugary flat sprite tasting thing. It was much worse than the other in my opinion, however I was still able to handle it. Probably because I still compare every thing a health person gives me to the crap I had to drink for a cat scan years ago! haha
Anyway, I have also heard of a colar sugar solution - I can't even imagine how bad that must taste.
Just had to rant about nothing for a bit.:)

yea i remember when i had to drink that stuff too.i have a 36 month old and 25 month old twins.its not as bad as ithought it would be.before i had to drink it,everybody kept telling me how nasty it was so i just prepared for the worst and it wasnt that bad.dont get me wrong,it wasnt good either lol.have a great week end whats left of it.

definately too sweet.its like they poured a box of sugar in it.lol but the sprite one was better than the orange one.

The only problem I have is now I hate orange soda. Everytime I drink orange soda it reminds me of that.
