Drinking too much coffee can produce restlessness, nausea, headache, tense muscles, sleep disturbances, and cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats). Because caffeine increases the production of stomach acid it may worsen ulcer symptoms or cause acid reflux ("heartburn"). Evening use of caffeine may disrupt sleep and cause insomnia.

hi...
im a nursing student from the philippines..
on my opinion, coffee is not good if taken excessively...
since it will cause episodes of arrythmias(abnormal beating of the heart).
persons who have heart conditions is deprived of coffee due to this effect... it makes the heart beat alot faster, which is not good in people who have a weak heart...
in conclusion, coffee is not bad, just dont over do it....

I had learnt from a medical report about coffee saying that taking coffee is good for our heart. Taking suitable amount of coffee is considered to be good for our health but not taken excessively. It’s advised not to exceed 6 cups per day. I wonder whether six cups is too much for an ordinary person. For me I dare to try with only two to three cups a day. It’s rather difficult for a coffee lover to refrain himself from coffee when he comes across any lol...
