I've been reading it in bits, reading sections, then letting them digest. I picked it up with a negative attitude. I work in customer service for a number of book clubs, and people were calling daily to order The Secret. I thought it was a faddish thing, like Dianetics or The Celestine Prophecy. I had no desire to read it. I picked it up for a friend, but she already had a copy. I began reading it so I could learn what it's all about. I think it has some merit. Positive thinking goes a long way, but I think some people think that simply thinking positive will yield all their heart's desires. You still have to be proactive. I'm still skeptical about the theory about if you believe, the universe will realign itself to make what you believe possible.
I'm interested in hearing what others have to say.

I've been reading it off and on for about two weeks now, picking it up when I can, and I have to say, I've been seeing a lot of opportunities that I desired and thought about in positive fashion (Ask, Believe, Receive) come to fruition.
I'm about to embark on my own online business venture soon, and it came about because I asked to do it, and I've been receiving help from great friends who have "offered" to help me. I think it has a lot of merit. But as the book says, if you don't believe it won't happen.
I have brought people from the past back into my life. I've met someone who fit the ideas I put out into the universe to meet. I feel happy and energetic and determined.
What do you have to lose really? :) That's my thought about it.
