When I had to buy a new computer in March, I decided to get Windows Vista as well. If I had known, how many pieces of Software don't work anymore, I would have bought Windows XP. In WinV, often software freeses or doesn't react anymore. Or Programs like Corel Draw 10 can't get installed, because it doesn't know the Windows Version (Well, thats not the fault of WinV though!). Anyway, in a year or so it might be better to start with WinV. - martin PS: I like surfing http://hitgusher.com/rotator/65887

I have yet to buy or even try Windows Vista. Whenever a new operating system comes out from Microsoft, it is better to wait a while since the system usually has a lot of bugs and flaws with it. Of course if you are buying a new computer you do not have a choice but I am waiting. My next computer will probably be an Apple Macbook. I have heard that running programs from previous operating systems have problems on Windows Vista.
