Do you think people will ever be ready to consider e-sports as sports??

My husband and I are in an e-sports team, which means that we play video games in competition at a high level. We ended this season being Battlefield 2142 National Champion in France and second in European position. Our team earned about 17 500 E in cash prize... We are very dedicated in developping e-sports in France and everywhere else but when you talk about e-sports, either people have never heard about it, or they laugh... Why is that?

every thing has its own role and i think no one can replace the outdoor games. they are very much required for the development of charector and also physical abilities. they are also the factor how the body organs and inner hormones devlop and how our internal fighting system develops human nature like friendlyness, sharing and other very important nature which is not possible with egames. so first go for outdoor games and then you can always switch to egames as they dont require a lot of physical skills.

The thing is, most part of the games playe in competition are team games. The players speak with each other, and actually meet for big events. So I don't see any difference with the team spirit and friendliness you can develop outside or inside. Players laugh, fight, argue, and share as many feelings and experiences as anywhere else.
