I'm allergic to ragweed, pigweed, cedar, mesquite (that was a tough one when I lived in West Texas) and a few other things that have not been identified. My allergies aren't all that bad and I never has gotten all the patch tests done - just a quick one years ago when I moved to Texas. I had never had an allergy problem til I moved to this state. Now, I get allergy attacks 2 or 3 times a year - but not really bad ones.

I am also allergic to nuts(but not peanuts). How bad is your allergy? Mine puts me in anaphylactic shock and I have to do the whole call 911-go to the hospital-get tons of epinephrine pumped in to me deal. It's really lousy, and makes me really paranoid to eat out sometimes, when I can never be certain what all might in some foods.
I have seasonal allergies, they tend to vary year to year though. This year I got off pretty easy.
I'm also allergic to my pet rats, to the extent I began having asthmatic reactions to them. Fortunately, I managed to get on the right medication and it keeps everything under control. Now all that really happens is I get a little itchy after I handle them, but that's easy enough to deal with. :)

Mine are pretty bad. My throat swells up and it takes me like 2 minutes to swallow water... up until recently, Benadryl handled it ... mostly.
I've never used the epinephrine... I went to the hospital once after my throat had been swollen for 4 days solid... they said I was probably starting to have some asthmatic reactions because I was probably allergic to more than we had known before, and gave me a week's worth of prednizone and lots of puffers.
Now, I have asthma and the meds.... help... periodically I just feel like throwing things, but then I get days where everything is better.
Fortunately, I'm not allergic to my pets :)
