GPRS is the acrony for: General Packet Radio Service.
It is the technique used for wireless data communication between devices. It is being used at par by Cellular service providers in many countries for providing their customers with the Internet service.
Even MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) is also built around GPRS only.
