Help me solve this

Ok normal Members will think I am crackers (mad) my Friends know I am crackers
I have a Problem here that needs to be solved
I share my treats with Gissi, like my Pancakes my Ice cream and other things but when it comes to Gissi getting his Treat he does not share, I am trying very hard to teach him that he has to but he will not have it
Like earlier he sat in front of me nice with his treat, he wanted me to play, so I got the treat and I was pretending to eat it and he went mad, he jumped up and took it of me, I told him to give it back that he has to share because I have to share with him, he wouldn't have any of it he growled at me when I tried to get it back, I got it back, but before I could do anything he jumped at me nipped my nose and took the Treat of me, when I say he nipped my nose it was in a playing sense, so anyway I decided to go and get an Ice cream instead, well he dropped his treat and sat nice in front of me because he wanted my Ice cream, I tried to ignore him but it is not possible with this little Guy so again I share my Ice cream with him, well we finished that so I went to get his treat and he jumped again and got it of me he would not share
He even made sure that I knew how much he was enjoying it as he was chewing away on it noisily, with his mouth open and looking at me
Now come on everyone is that fair of my little Monkey? I don't think it is as I always share
I think it is very selfish of him, but of course he disagrees there, now how comes that does not surprise me, well you know how he always messes up my Cushions when he gets cheesed of with me well I messed up his bed which did not impress him at all, he sat in front of his bed and growled at me
I think I might try that on him next time he messes my bed up

This is so funny gabs....sounds like Gissi is a selfish doggie...he fully expects you to share your treats but not vice versa...naughty naughty on him!! It's funny though how the two of you get even with one another...he messes up your cushions and bed, and you get even by messing up his bed...LOL

Well, gabs, your Gissi sounds like a selfish little fellow, LOL. But most pets usually are. And, to add insult to injury, he actually nipped your nose! Now that's what I call biting the hand(nose) that feeds you.

Iburns my Dog is like my Baby this is not about Owner and Boss this is our little Game we play and my Gissi is treated like my Children are as he is part of my Family both my Children are Adults but they treat him the same
Our Pets have always been part of the Family and have their own Personality
I do not really want his food it is a game

Thats my dog also he won`t even share a ball even though he wants to play , not even if I offer hima treat there is no way...
He is a knumbskull , doesn`t know how to I`ve tried to teach him for the last almost ten years and no way , even still today ...

Well Gabs I caught Maggie and Molly talking to Gissi on the phone the other day. And the girls said they get ice cream from mom when shes done with it. Gissi must have said he doest share his treats with you. So the girls said to him its not nice you have to share.LOL Maybe Gissi will take some advice from my girls.heheheheheh

As I was reading this I couldn't help but think of those Walls sausages adverts when the dog wants all the sausages and not share any.
Have you seen them?
I can just imagine you and Gissi having a battle of the wills. I just thinks he wants to have his cake and eat it, especially when its yours!!!

Well gabs, i think gissi needs a stern talking to. He is being a very selfish boy. You need to teach him a lesson. Now the only way to do that is for you to be strong and not give in to him. I know this is going to be hard, but you only got to do it a few times and he should learn his lesson. You gotta not share with him, and eat in front of him and let him know how good it is. So, be strong. And good on for you for mucking up his bed. hehe

I have just read Gissi's web. I can totally understand why you spoil him so much. He is so lucky to have such a caring mum as you. And he is so cute. We have 2 dogs, both got from the kennels. We have had him (wags) for 7 years. He was treated bad like gissi was before we got him. The other (bundy) we have only had 3 weeks, he is a pup. Like having another baby around.

I think the little monkey is not a monkey he is part pig. LOL He just thinks what is yours is his and what his is his. He is a man and men sometimes do not think they need to share. Petie does not share his toys with any of us. He bites at the cats when they want to play with his toys. When anyone gets a stuffed toy in the house he thinks it is for him. He is a man even if he is fixed it is in the jeans. LOL

lol gabs Gissi sounding very selfish indeed...But I think that's a pet for you hehe...But it's cute you guys play these kind of games...My kitty attacked my friends dog the other day we lock him up in my sons room cuz he doesn't like dogs or other cats..But my son had to get something and he got out at first he just meowed but the second time he got up he swatted and almost pounced luckily the dog didn't get hurt but I gave My CoCo heck well later that night he was being a suck lol..Kept coming like he was apoligizing and wanted attention was too cute..

Ha ha ha Gabs and Gissi are at it again. I have lot of fun when i read your both funny tales. But i agree with you dear that Gissi should learn to share with you as i do. I hope that makes you happy :) Hope you both fun and enjoy playing games with each other. Have a nice day.:)

well Gabs who is the boss, if he doesn't want to he doesn't have to. stop thinking of winning this battle anyways. He is smart and you have fallen for him and now to share or not is going to be entirely his decision. You are just their to pay the bills so just keep to that.lol

That's pretty selfish of him!! but, i guess, he enjoys the game more and so he doesn't really give up that easily. he knows your mind more than you do and irritates you. he just have fun time in return. lol..

lol so funny never thought of trying to take and make Fang share his treat lol. But then again he just might let me then what would I do I wouldnt want to eat it myself !
But if you want Gissi to share I guess you will just have to keep at him. Messing up his bed just might work never know hugs

Oh dear gaby. I think it would be unwise to try and change anything at this stage. Let's face it, the little fellow is the boss of the house....the king of the castle. He deserves everything and you are there simply to cater to his every whim. He is allowed to do what he wants, when he wants, he is to get whatever he wants....all you have to do is look after him and clean up after him and keep him happy.

There is no true solution to this problem. With Gissi, it is not a two-way street. It is his way or the highway. Don't feel too bad. Lizzie and Gizmo will not share their treats with me either. Have fun messing up his bed a few times. I am curious. What does he do when you growl at him?
