I don't know if any of you are having a problem with the speed. Once you type the address & hit Go it takes about 7-10 mins to load myLot.com not only that it even slows down any other website that might be open. Even while switching from one page to another on myLot (like from Home to Friends) take long. Is there the same problem on other browers other than Internet Explorer. Desprately need help. Matter of fact it took me almost 50 mins to create this discussion.

I have never faced this problem though it takes some time the first time you load. I think you clear your cache and all temporary internet files which decreases speed of sites. Also check you internet connection. I don't know which connection you are using. I also suggest you try to log on in a different PC it will clear if there is any spyware related problem in PC. Spywares slow down internet speed. Hope this much can help you a bit.

WOW, that is slow. I have DSL now but even with dial up I have to say I was impressed with how fast the pages loaded. Mylot loaded faster than yahoo mail IMO. That is strange you are having such a time to post. It may be something on your end I am afraid.

As of yesterday (Saturday), I'm on cable modem and now I have no issues with mylot's speed. Previously, I was on dialup and yes, it did take literally a minute or two for the website to load. If it's taking you literally 7+ minutes for mylot.com, or any website, to load, there is definately something wrong with your computer and/or internet connection.
