Xbox 360 price drop

Rumors are going around the net that the Microsoft is dropping the 360 price by $50. Do you think that this will put them ahead of Sony in the console war?

Naa, maybe for a short period, but in the long run the PS3 is too powerful, in six months or so games are going to be very advanced on PS3 and the Xbox wont be powerful enough to run them - then what? Then the price wont really matter :-)
