I know that there has got to be some interesting stories out there...
I actualy met mine online. It sounds kinda silly, but I am having such a wonderful time. We met in a chatroom, then started talking on the phone, and finally we met each other on a whim, and it was great! It's complicated and hard right now, but I know things will get better for us.
What about you??

I met my current wife on-line just a few years ago. I was going through a divorce and after the shock of that wore off I decided I would get on-line to have someone to talk to. I found a site called dreamates.com and put my profile on it.
It didn't cost to sign-up but for men it would cost a little bit every time you either sent out or received a contact. Women were free. By accident I placed my interest in a city I intended to move back to one day as well as the one I was in.
One day I got a contact from a woman in that distant city. By chance her name was the same as my first wife. That got my attention. I could not believe it at first but followed up.
We went through the same process you are going through and I moved back to her city following the end of a contract I was working on. We have been married now for about 5 years. Now most people think that when you are 60 or older that you can hang it up finding anyone else. I am here to tell you that is not true.
With the Internet the world is yours if you but try.

I met my husband at a housewarming party that was for two friends that we both knew but separately. He knew some of my friends for years, but somehow our paths had never crossed.

It's crazy how that happens. It turns out that my best friend and I shared a class and friends in the 7th grade, but we never became friends till 10th.

well i met my hubby when we were in highschool.. he was a transferee at bethel academy.. i really don't like him that much because he is too snobbish and he irritates the hell out of me coz he kept on tapping his foot behind my chair.
well, that was before i get to know him. then, i now knew he was kind and a bit shy...
actually, we started to get into the relationship 2 years after we graduated from highschool.. i dunnoo... i guess maybe we did tried to be great friends at first, then that's it.. we discovered that since highschool, we are special for each other..
you dunno how dismayed i became coz if he did tried to tell me that he liked me before, i guess we are already a couple since highschool... but its okay, it's better late than never.. =)
