There are a group of these photo microstock sites out there and I've seen a couple mentioned in mylot.
I have not seen a good thread on peoples experience and which ones people like the most and why.
I'm looking at a few my self and just joined a couple but the grapevine is always a valuable tool. So I'm wondering if I can solicit a few opinions on the best online photo stock agencies from the members here at mylot? It can be from the photographer(contributer) or buyers point of view.
There is a lot of work to getting images, preparing them, getting releases, captioning, filing, editing and getting them accepted so a choice of a good online microstock company can be an important choice in starting out.
Here is a list of a few I've looked at and I would really appreciate hearing about the ups/downs and good or bads anyone knows about these microstock sites.

Istockphoto: istockphoto.com

Stockxpert: stockxpert.com

This is only a few of the photography microstock sites I've found. Do you know of more?
Which ones do people recommend?
I can't give a lot of input yet about them. I'm just joining and looking around at each of them myself.

You are really serious about your photography, aren't you. That is great! You have found a lot more about photostock companies than I knew about. I applied for Istockphoto, but they did not accept my pictures, saying they had too much noise. I didn't see any myself and I have the noise reducer always on, on my camera. I sent some of my best with the application, so I don't know if I will ever get any accepted or not. Some of the sites require a dig camera to have more than 5 pixels. My camera is only 3.3, so that prevents me from even trying some.
If you would like a place to get good evaluations on your photos, then try fanartreview.com. I really like that site, but it is not a stock photo site. Good luck with your search.
