Ever buy a gift off ebay?

Yes, I bought some of my gifts in ebay most likely toys, clothes and books. However, I am trying to stay away buying gifts from the electronics division. Well, I buy stuff in there but only if I am only using it myself and I can able to test it as soon as it arrives, if defective, I can immediately contact the seller and arrange for a refund or an exchange. However, if I'm buying a gadget for a gift and let's say the event or the celebration is still 2 weeks away, I will not know if the gadget is defective or not (on sealed items) before that 2 weeks and most sellers in ebay have this return policy only up to 7 days or so.

Ive Actually Have Only Bought One Gift Off Of Ebay. I Bought A Pink PlayBoy Bunny Zippo Lighter For A Friend. I Asked Her What She Wanted And She Told Me. The Quality Of The Lighter Was Great! Brand New! The Rest Of The Things I Have Bought Have Either Been Gifts For Myself Or For The Business...:-)

OH wow ya!! I actually do alot of my Xmas shopping over at Ebay....you can find some really great deals and unique items etc so its a must for me come the holidays :-D

I love shopping at ebay. You can find anything! I mean anything you can think of and then even the things you'd never think of! That's another reason that I like mylot, the little pictures of ebay things at the top of the page! I get gift ideas that way too! Recently I bought a bunch of Italian charms for my adult daughter as a gift. They had so many cute ones and I spent way too much but she loves them so it was worth the price! Then she went and ordered herself a few custom Italian charms of some of her favorite actors. It was cool. I bought me an entire Italian charm bracelet too, one that says Diabetic on Insulin. I love it and the entire thing was less than $10 even with shipping! Recently bought my mother the DVD of that book THE SECRET that's so hot and people love. I wanted it for her birthday and then the people I ordered if from turned out to be criminals and I thought my money was lost forever but Paypal gave it all back to me so I ordered it from someone else. My mother is very happy with her DVD [even though I gave it to her months after her birthday]. I really love ebay for gifts, especially when there is something specific that you know people like or collect. Ebay is the place to buy things to add to collections. I buy myself gifts from ebay fairly frequently too. I know that's not exactly what you meant but I love presents too! :-)

yup, i've bought someone a gift from eBay before. i seldom do it though. the reason i bought it was because the item was much cheaper on eBay than in the stores. i've bought spiderman action figures, a michael shumacher ferrari car figurine, ralph lauren wallet..planning to get some liverpool merchandise for a friend's birthday since his favourite football club is liverpool hehe...

I've never bought anyone a gift off Ebay. I always tempt myself with Gwen Stefani's clothing line. I love her clothes and I've always wanted a few L.A.M.B pieces and the only place I can find some at reasonable prices is Ebay. I still haven't bought any yet because it's still a bit pricey for me, even on Ebay...but I'm always looking.:P

I buy a lot of gifts off of Ebay, most around Christmas though. The most recent item I bought was an iPod Shuffle for myself, new in the box for $60 including shipping. If it is a good deal and new (are almost new) I will buy a gift off of Ebay. I don't see what the big deal is, the person getting the gift doesn't know where it came from. If I can get a nice gift, or a better gift than I could afford paying the retail price, why not?

I am a bit of an eBay addict myself ;) I always buy gifts off eBay, i bought my friend's son (she's in the UK, I'm in Oz) a pair of Spiderman PJ's coz they were brand new with tags & much cheaper than if i'd gone to a store. I always buy my daughter clothes from there too. I have also found that you can get some awesome kids toys that are brand new in their boxes much cheaper than in a normal store, with 6 nieces & 2 nephews, i have to try & save as much money as i can so they all get a gift. The cheaper i can get their gifts for, the more money i have left over for myself :) It's definitely the place to buy gifts from if you cant get to the shops or if you have a little less money that the shops are asking for things!

I've bought tons of gifts off of ebay. I've bought my husband stuff, son stuff, sister stuff and mother-in-law too. I've gotten computer stuff (for hubby), Barbies (for sister), toys (for son) and charms (for mother in law.. and myself LOL). Sometimes it's easier finding what they want on there (and sometimes cheaper) then in the store.

Ebay is a wonderful place to buy gifts online. shipping may be alittle high some time so like every thing else you have to shop around for a good deal. I have not ever hadf any problem getting the things I buy on ebay. I buy things all the time some gifts some things for my bissness, and alot for myself. I like to buy and sell old money on ebay. Some time I just look around and dream about thing I wish I had the money to buy lol.

Last christmas I bought a lot of gifts for friends and family. I only bought those not so expensive ones
