I'm Lonely Here. I need More Friends? Will Be My Friend?

Friends are not just somebody you talk to online. I thought I had a lot of different friends during my time in the service. Every duty station I had, I made friends with somebody that I thought would be my friend forever. We did almost everything together. Now that I am out of the service, when I try to contact them, none of them respond. I spent a lot of time with each of these people and it turns out they were not true friends, so someone you talk to online is not your friend. The people I spent most of my time with in high school do not even respond to my letters. So if you want friends, the people you meet online are not really going to be your friends, look else where. I have had a lot of people that I thought were friends, turned out they were not really friends, so be careful. I have no friends, because most people want something and are not truely your friends.
