i love the things that come out of kids mouths. today i was getting ready to go out and putting sun screen on my daughter. she has such a hard time standing still and paying attention. i said look at mom cause i was doing her face. she was turning her head a little and her eyes were trying to focus on the tv. i said is mom on tv. she says no why. i said cause your not looking at me like i asked. she says well mom i have big eyes and i can spread them so i can see you and the tv. it was so cute

That was so cute, yes kids can say somethings. Just yesterday my brother's son who is 8 ask if I could ride him on the ATV (4-wheeler) I told him I was to busy for him to just go get on it and ride it. He looked at me and said your the adult and your telling me to go do something that can hurt me and that's just not right.

Once I was baby sitting a little boy, 4 years old. He asked me something to eat but when I gave him what he asked he said he didn't want it anymore. Then I said something like "you wanted the bike, now ride it".
He didn't understand what I said but answered anyway: My bike is broken.
I said it wasn't the real bike, it was a metaphor.
He then answered: Ok, my metaphor is broken.

The television is definately an attention getter. My daughter is sixteen and I still am telling her so look at me and not the television. I think that kids that are only children learn faster. Maybe because they are around adults all the time. My daughter loves to read and projects by herself. I can remember her teacher telling me that my kid was using big words and the other kids did not know what she was talking about. You will be surprised many times as she grows up. The things that our kids do and say when they are very young are precious memories that we keep forever. Treasure everyone of these moments with your daughter.

more like kids have a reason for everything :)they dont know much and try to defend what they are doing :) and i relaly find it cute when they do that :) their efforts are silly but rather its attractive to see them doing the darnest thing and showing their efforts on saying " but mom the dog broke th vase why won't you believe me"
hehe its really really super cute

Kid do say some really cute things. I am raising one of my granddaughters and she is always saying something that make me laugh. The other day she made a mess on the front room floor with her toys and when I ask her to pick them up and put them away, she looks at me and puts her hands on her hips and says but grandma its a big mess and I am just a little girl. She is 5 and it was her way of asking me to help her clean up her toys.

My wife had just finished icing the Christmas cake. When she left the kitchen our 18-month old son (the apple of his mother's eye) climbed onto a chair and started to stick his fingers into the gooey, sugary, still-not-set icing. I came into the kitchen and caught him red-handed with icing smeared all over his fingers, face and clothes.
"Mummy will be cross with you!" I scolded. But the little tyke had already weighed up the situation before committing the crime.
"She'll be a bit cross," he said confidently, "but not very cross."
And she wasn't. But then she discovered he'd also licked all the icing sugar of the mince pies ...
