When you need to get out from that sweltering heat, Baguio is the prime destination. With temperatures as low as 18C average, you are sure to feel cool and relaxed. On the other hand, if you do want to flaunt your bikini and beach bodies, the island of Boracay in Aklan is the perfect place to do that. Tagaytay, is a beautiful place, usually frequented by city dwellers during weekends. Just a place to relax and unwind after a hectic week at the office.

You are right! There are several beautiful landmarks in Baguio to visit such as the Philippine Academy, Mines View Park, Burnham Park, The Mansion, Tam-awan Village, Camp John Hay and its Botanical Garden. Tagaytay is just 2 hours ride from Manila. It's the cool breeze and the view of the Taal Volcano that draw people to visit the place. The right place for relaxation for busy and bothered people. If you are looking a beach with a refined white sand in it, Boracay Island is the best place to visit. If you are a nature lover, try to visit also the amazing beauty of the Chocolate Hills in Bohol. You will love said places in the Philippines.

i have been to baguio but not a very big fan for the reason that i don't like cold weather. hehe. although most spots there are so common i especially enjoy the "binatog" (corn off the cob flavored with salt and milk)sold at the burnham park. i still enjoy boating and horseback riding as well. i have relatives in tagaytay. one of my relatives there actually has a veranda overlooking the taal volcano so i have never been to the taal vista. i highly recommend that you try tagaytay's nurure spa. good for couples and big group of friends. had "Panday" taping for over a month in bohol. panglao is a refreshing scene away from the citylife. it's just a pity that chocolate hills is not so fabulous as i've expected it. maybe it lacks maintenance from the locals. the mangrove or man made forest were we taped was very admirable. i can never imagine how there were built beautifully. in cebu unfortunately, i've been there 2x only to dock and drive to the airport. stopover. had taping also in bacolod. i enjoyed feeding large sizes of "tilapia" (freshwater fish) in one of their parks at the heart of the city. try "marang fruit" that looks and tastes like an enlarged "atis". easier to eat as well coz of large seeds than the atis. jeepneys there look kinda funny as compared to the regular jeep we have in manila.
