Which do you prefer to be first? Good news OR Bad news?

i would like to hear bad news first and then the good news. i guess, everyone else would want it that way. we, humans, kind of have this psychology more or less similar. don't we?

I think I would rather the good news first because then, if it was good enough, it would take the sting out of the bad news don't you think?

I would prefer bad news first before good news, in that way, the shock I recieve could be coved by the good news. However, according to the good news I have heard, they are just a buffer for the bad news to look not as bad as it seemed. Well, I guess that is a good way to do a buffer especially when its a really bad news. Bad things happen go good people anyways.

I think I would listen to the bad news first, and then listen to the good news, so that I believe I can hear the bad news buffer. This made me feel uncomfortable and not so sad. Not everyone is aware of this?

Yup, bad news first for me...after the initial shock, the good news follows and one feels relieved and easy...of course some people do it to caution the impact of the bad news. Like the bad news, you are terminated from your job...the good news, there's another job waiting for you. So you see, the person gains to benefit from that order of presentation of news...he, he, he. But I'd rather be confronted with good news, and have a tendency to avoid the bad news, although they are part of life...

hei, I think same with you I prefer to hear the bad news first after that then the good news. because for me after I heard the bad news I will be sad, right after that good news probably will make my feeling better. just hope the good news is very good so it might cover the bad news.

I prefer bad news to be told first, so that I will have enough strength to digest it and plan for converting the bad into good. Then of course I want the good news to come last, so that it can wipe out all bad feelings resultant of bad news and it can linger in mind for days to come.

I would like to take bitter pill first than the sweeter one. Because after taking a sweet pill, it will be very difficult for me to take the bitter pill. So the bad news be told to me first ...then I would like to go for good news.
