Yes I do put deodorant regularly similar to what your husband does. Most of the time I sweat a lot and I smells. So regularly after taking a bath even if I am just going to sleep I put on deodorant.

No, I do not put deo on my armpit. I do not smell either but I prefer to put some powder on my armpits after my shower. I just like to smell nice and it makes me feel good.

Hi, I have to admit that I always do. Basically, the more you sweat, the more bacteria are formed. Deodorant helps control the sweating which thus leds to less bacteria. Also, washing is of huge importance before the deodorant goes on or it is just simply "masking" the problem. cheers,

Yes I do. In a tropic country like ours, hot weather, we do perspire a lot and we need deo to put on. But I do put on it only after taking a bath, never put on after being under the heat or the sun, it will not help you be fresh and clean feeling. But when I go to sleep I dont put deo on my armpit I need natural things on my body to be relaxed and feel fresh also...

Excuse me, but why do you ask such a question? If your lover says he smells if he does not use deodorant, he has to use it. It is quite obvious. When I was younger, I had to use Mitchum, the stronger deodorant available. I do not have that problem when it is cold, but when it is quite hot, I have to use it and sometimes I may have to use it twice a day. As I said, why do you ask such a question? You might have ask if I washed my hands after you know what. And even if your lover says you do not smell, you should use a deodorant, anyway. Have you tried getting him to lose some weight for instance?

I don't think Deodorant is as essential as washing your hands after going to the toilet. after all, washing your hands is basic hygiene. deodorant isn't always necessary. I hardly ever use it. only when I need to. the rest of the time, I just wash.

It's just more sanitary to wear deodorant. A person doesn't even have to break a sweat to have a little odor. Several years ago people wouldn't use it because it contained aluminum, but they don't sell those deodorants in the mainstream market anymore. I just want to be positive I'm OK, if I put up my arms or hug someone, lol.

of course AmbiePam..there is nothing more secure to put on some rather than wondering if you smell or not..hehe

I almost never use deodorant. I wash regularly, and this means that bacteria don't breed there, and it's the bacteria that smell, not the sweat. and antiperspirants are definitely not good for you.

Hi. We have that habit going on in our house too, after every shower or bath one takes in our home, and thats my husband and i, and our teen children, we will all use deodarant or impulse sprays to keep our pits smelling fresh and not foul...

I do, otherwise my pits will smell like Philly Cheese steaks which I guess is a bad smell?? I'm not overweight but I do have a bit of a potbelly...I guess that counts. Haha. I only put it on when I go out in public, at home I'm more relaxed about pretty much everything.

we have to be sure we smell good before we get out and mingle with people we pass by..i think it's not necessary to put on deo at home..just have it when we get to go somewhere else.

I only put deodorant when i go out specially at work because i tend to sweat alot. As much as possible i avoid putting deodorant to prevent underarm darkening. My partner always put deodorant after every bath even if were going to sleep. Its ok for me because i like the smell it serves as a perfume to him too.

luckily i don't have the problem of body odor.so i don't need deodrant or sprays for this purpose.but sometimes i put it on but not on daily basis. antiperspirants and deodrants work to reduce body odor but they do so by clogging the pores and locking the odor causing bacteria underneath the skin.so continuous use of these can lead to underarm cysts and pimples.so i try to avoid them.at that time we truely need them. actually i am not much of a fan of deo.rather i use perfumes and i love them.i put on deos but rarely and that too when i suppose i am to sweat badly.

I don't think you can always smell yourself and I wouldn't necessarily trust a boyfriend/girlfriend who knows your scents to tell you you don't smell because maybe they are used to it. not that everyone smells or anything..i'm just saying. I definitely always wear deodorant. it's a part of my "getting dressed" routine and I'd never leave without deodorant. It's just a safety precaution plus prevention of sweaty armpits and I'd never ever want to smell like BO because i've known some people who have and....ew.

Hi angel_of_charm! Oh, I don't smell either but I do use deodorant/anti-perspirant because it is hygienic to do so. We have sweat glands in our armpits that's why we sweat especially when it is hot, this area in turn is conducive to be breeding grounds for germs, so to avoid germs we have to apply deodorant that are anti-perspirant especially if we live in a tropical country like ours. At least that's what I have remembered that was taught to me so many years ago in my health subjects. Have a nice day!

anti-perspirants are really not very good for you. you sweat for a reason, to regulate your body temparature. it's harmful to the body to block it's regualatory systems, such as sweating. a deodorant, if you need one, is much better, as it allows the body to regulate its temperature, but just covers up the smell. better still, if you wash your armpits frequently with soap and water, that removes the bacteria. sweat alone does not smell, just the bacteria that breed on it. there are some very good natural deodorants that have antibacterial essential oils to kill the bacteria, and absorbant powders, like bicarb or cornstarch, to prevent excess moisture. antiperspirants just clog the sweat glands with metals. whichn can cause health problems.

Yes I put it on after every bath, I also carry some with me at most times if I'm out and about I like to refresh up. If I got to a theme park and places like that I carry a backpack with me with stuff like deodorant in it.
