how do you find your friends in mylot at first?

i'm glad to make friends in mylot.but haven't met many.i feel a little upset.is it because my poor english?or anything else.i've answered a few discussions and feel more confused. would you give me a way out?

If someone replies my discussion very well, then I would like to add him/her. Besides, if I see someone who has a nice avatar, I am interested in adding this one as my friend. Also if this one has lots of posts, then I will also like to add him/her because he/she is very active in Mylot.

I'm just new in here, so, i'm still looking for friends. My english not too well and i don't know some words in english, but i always try to know what people say here. Confusing is one of problems in here, first, i feel very very confused, but i can try again and again to do something here. Be my friend..yandong!!!
