As long as they use the same network protocols, computers that use different desktop operating systems (e.g. MacOS, Windows 98,Windows XP, Windows Vista) can be connected to communicate with each other, and share information.

sorry about that. i am not familiar with linux. i had an internet cafe before and i used different windows versions and it worked for all computers. i could copy and share files from one computer to another.

i think it is defenetly possible , just it will be difficult . I dont know many about the mac , (i assume ist mac and windows?) , but i know its open source , so maybe you could just download a windows emulator , and so connecting them?
