For the sake of time the movies have had to just skim over some of the smaller bits in the book. To me those parts may be small but they are really what makes the books.
Well if you ask me .., the book is a lot more gripping than the movie. Cause of the neccessity for making the scripts short they remove the jollg parts from the books. ONly the serious patrs are included. Thats the big difference.
