Places to visit in Paris

Hello/Salut, I would like to ask people, especially locals, wht places should I not miss in Paris. I am thinking about going to Paris in October and I will spend at least one day at EuroDisney, but besides that I am open to see other places from Paris, from the Eiffel tower to Louver. I would like to have advice about: transportation, places to stay (near EuroDisney or Paris), places to visit, etc... Can someone give some info? Merci
