if one examines closely the batting averages of all great indian batsmen who have been made captian, we will find that most have theirs slipping below what they have achieved before. When Ajit wadekar was made a captain his batting slipped, when gavaskar lead india his batting slipped, ofcourse what happened to sachin when he took over capatincy is no secret, adding to that list now is Rahul dravid. Somebody who once was the wall is now having such huge holes in his technique that one begins to doubt whether his batting was over exaggerated. It is so mysterious as to why when somebody is given the responsibility to lead they fail to perform. Is it because they become complacent or do they start to worry too much???? well for the good of indian cricket rahul should pull up his socks and show his class otherwise preying are justing waiting for the golden opportunity to kick him out and laugh over his fate.

i consider when more pressure depend on them they cant able to play well. full burden falls on them media press board and all. for that they are depending to overcome and failing in match to play well.
