yeah, maybe you are right that mylot ,population is increasing but the number of active users are decreaseing, i think it is happening because mylot is offering very less pay per post as compared to earlier time or the other sites which are on the internet right now.

I was gone for about a month and I noticed a real change in the number of active members when I returned. Perhaps some of it is because its summer, perhaps some of it is because the rate of pay dropped. But I also think that a big part of it is the 'quality' of posting going on.
When I see topics such as "Chocolate milk or plain" [not a real title] I know that the poster is only trying to get any sort of response, not a true discussion. I don't bother to respond to those and I don't think a lot of other people do either.
I am not saying all discussions need to be deadly serious, not at all, there is room here for some real fun with stuff.

It is summer time. The population has increased by those who do not give intelligent posts or responses. That is the trouble relying on referral systems. The pay rate has decreased, and there may be reasons we know nothing about. I noticed that mylot does not allow us to post recipes anymore, and I am wary of posting a recipe on my web page which is about writing, not cooking.
