Have you ever had a broken heart? Or have you done the breaking?

I must admit, I haven't ever had a broken heart!
I have always done the heartbreaking.
I didn't mean to break hearts, I just got tired of the relationships, so I left them.
I have only broken a few hearts, not too many, but I feel so bad because of them.
I mean, it's not my fault that I lost interest, but I hated seeing those men cry over me.
I would tell them, "I'm NOT that special! I'm definetelly not worth crying over. You can always find someone better then me!"
But they just wanted me!
They would tell me I was the one they wanted to be with, no one else.
But how did they know what they really wanted when we were so young?
Am I a bad person because I have broken hearts?
Have you ever had your heart broken, or have you done the breaking?

I don't know if I have broken their hearts cos we were still so young and we may not know what love is exactly all about. I initiated 2 breakups in total by writing them "break-up" letters cos I wanted to focus on my studies. Being in a relationship can be really stressful when u wanna keep it under wraps (my mum disagrees to relationships during schooling. Duh.) Subsequently, several guys who wanna hit on me got "punched" in their face instead cos they were very persistent. Nasty I know..But I got to turn them down no matter what! Sorry guys!

I have been on both sides of this, and neither is any fun. I must say, though, I'd much rather have my heart broken than do it to someone else. At least I am in some control of my feelings. Its hard to see someone struggle because you rejected them.
