do you own a lot of books?

Geez, I probably own at least 200-300 books. I have my own library shelves and all that. I have read each and every one of them. Most are reference books. I have specialized gardening books, my medical books, nursing books, novels, writing/English books, business informational books, encyclopedias, history books, geography, dictionaries & cross references for different languages. When my kids were in grade school they never had to go to the library, we had plenty of reference books for them to learn from. Having a lot of books is good because the children learn to grow up with an appreciation of books that will last them a lifetime.

I have a lot of academic books.. MY favorite books are my Mathematic Books since I was a kid and until college.. I have about 50 of them... and to add up one of my favorite book also is my accounting books... Next to these are Poetry books.. Novels... Im not really into pocket books and Fictions.. I much prefer something that will teach me along the way. Like recently I just bought some books about java programming and other computer languages... I even buy a book of Businessmen like Bill Gates.. I love to learn and I love books.. I have more or less 500 books.. :D

i have many books.if i reffer only to my personal books not to all the books in my house,i think there are over a 100 but i haven't count them .maybe more han 150 don't know exactly but i often buy books.here in my country there's a news paper that once a week sells a book at a price that is a third from the real price of the books so i bought 37 of these books.now this promotion is on holiday til september so we got time to read the books.they are novels from contemporan authors american,chineese,french,spanish ,english,sweedish etc. and i enjoyed almost all the books i read from this collection.i got also enciclopedy books,love novels,adventure books,books with crimes.i got classic books from romanian authors like eminescu,creanga,caragiale,alecsandri etc don't think you've heard from them.even my girlie has about 10 books with stories.she hasn't yet colouring books as she is too little but i'll buy her soon.i loved the storie books when i was a child

not a lot but probably around 100(?). I love collecting books that interests me...

Hi i'm not a book worm & i dont read books but sometimes i love to read magazine. And i dont have any collection of books. But i still have my college books with me which i've never disposed.

i have a lot of books, don't know exactly how many. some are science fiction, some fantasy, some books by stephen king, umberto eco, the eternal champion series, the wheel of time series, books on programming, c, c++, databases, data structures and algorithms, etc. no romance novels though =)

I own a few shelves full of books, but I only have a small apartment so I really have no room to keep that many books, One day I hope to live in a big house with a personal library. I would love to have a big room a few stories high filled from ceiling to floor, wall to wall with books.

I have many many books. In the house I have probably 5,000 books, mostly on bookshelves. And in a shed in our backyard, there are so many books I am not even sure how many there are but it's totally full of boxes of books. So, I am guessing there may be 10,000 out there maybe. And this is after I have given away, sold, thrown away many many books too. I love books and bought them at thrift stores for many years. I had hoped to have a bookstore one day but that didn't work out for me. I am still going through my books and getting rid of some. My favorites that I don't get rid of though are my horse books collection. I love horses and I collect anything to do with them. I keep my Stephanie Plum mystery books, Anita Blake Vampire Hunter books, Sookie Stackhouse mysteries, MaryJanice Davidson's books, Kim Harrison's witch series, Jennifer Crusie's books and there are others too. I LOVE books! I could be called obsessive about them! :-) LOL

Oh yes!! As a home school family, we have books on about anything you could imagine. I like to read and I try to keep a lot of interesting things around to read . I am always buying books and workbooks that have things that the kids can work on or can read as that is the best way to learn. If you are trying to get a child to like to read , you have to find something that they are intersted in to keep them reading.

I used to own a lot of books. I used to have two box full of books. I was saving them for when I have my own apartment but now that I have, most of them are no longer with me. My friend and I started a book rental business early this year and so most of my books I sent to the store. Saved me some space for other books that I will accumulate:P

No i don't at the most 25. I have a habit of disposing books once i have finished reading them. So don't have a big collection. Mostly am into reading financial magazines based on equity stocks.

I own loads and loads of books. Almost all of them are fiction and in series. I really enjoy horror books to, i think horror book are way scarier than horror movies, maybe that's just me :)

i do own a lot of books, mostly about boxing, fantasy, and music. I love to read to relax.
