Well it just figures I washed a few things out by hand today and hung them on line outside to dry. Yes it started to pour! I didnt make in time to get them so I said the hell with it. Now I heard that rainwater makes our clothes soft. Do you think thats true or not? Im leaving them out because I dont feel like getting all wet and besides they all already soaked.LOL Great start to my day!

i don;t know if its true, never heard of it just now..i had once that i didn't manage to get it all before the rain pours..i was not home when it happens and all of my clothes had been wet again by the rain..all i notice was it leaves some smell that is not good..like a fishy thing smell so i have to wash the clothes all over again.

My mother used to wash cloth in one of those old wringer washers when I was a kid and she would catch rain water in a berrel to wash with. I don't know if it made the cloth any softer than the stuff you can buy now days but this was in the 50s and 60s and we lived in some far out of town places.
