I just wounder if there are many of you mylotter who play poker online. If you do that wich do you prefear Texas Holdem or regular 5 cards poker.
I play some time turnaments in Texsas Holdem and in fact I hawe won 3 but I think thats most luck but it gives me some pocket money.
Hawe you played any turnamets and howe did it go for you?

I prefer Texas Holdem , I mostly play fixed limit ring games but I have played a few sit n go's and have won 1 or 2 and ended in the money for a few others.
If you want to polish your holdem game up a bit check out "small stakes hold'em:winning big with expert play" by ed miller and david slansky it helped a lot for me.
I think in tournaments the main skill to master is playing according to your stack and the current blind to ensure you are getting the best value for the stage in the tournament.

I play quite a few tournaments each month. I've been getting better over the last few years. I've won as much as $500 in live tournaments and as much as $1,400 in online tournaments. I'm at a point where I just about break even. Now I've got to get my game up a notch and start making a profit.

in my house we love texas hold em.we belong to party poker on line but we play for fun.one of my customers was just recently in a huge tournament,and he had to pay 10,000 to get in.but out of the thousands of people that enter he came in 250th place and won $45,000,which is a great profit.i found that pretty awesome.maybe one day my husband will do that.
