Do tattoos hurt?

It depends on what kind of pain tolerance you have and where you want to place the tattoo. I have one on my shoulder and it started off stinging and then kind of went numb. It was sore the next day, but not too bad. I have heard that near the feet, the chest, and the inside of your arm hurt.
