Yeah I know, but it post many sites for puting there your poetry. Hope you don't mind I responde so late, but didn't see it before.

I hope you find what you are looking for. Good luck with your novel. I started on a story a while back and told myself I was going to turn it into a novel but don't have the time to do so. I hope to get back into it soon. :)

It took me some time. I am on my sixth revision, and I still have this problem of it is not good enough.

Well I hope you get some good use out of this forum. I know I have found a few sites that I am interested in publishing my stories and poems at. In fact I have already submitted a poem on one site and am waiting and praying with my fingers crossed that it gets accepted because they say they pay $30 for poems! I know what you mean about Associated Content. Their offers are getting lower and lower and they are getting more strict. In the beginning when I first started there 6 months ago I was making some decent money with them but they don't pay that much anymore. Also they don't pay for short stories or poems and that sucks too. My husband is buying me a printer this month for a late B-Day present. My birthday was July 21st but he didn't have the money then so he's buying it for me Saturday! Then I can print out my short stories and send them in to see if I can get published! I can't wait! You can also check out Associated Content or Constant Content. They both pay a whole lot more than Helium. I submitted one article to Helium and realized it wasn't worth my time. Not when I can make more on AC and CC. The only thing I don't like about CC is that they are very strict when it comes to spelling and grammar. So strict you have to have no mistakes or it won't get accepted. That's why I don't write for them because I don't like the pressure. I like writing free-hand and that is what I love about blogs. Anyway if you are interested in the link for AC or CC then PM me and I will send them to you. If you don't live in the US, AC won't pay you upfront for articles. You will only make money off of the page views. CC will pay people outside of the US though. I'm not sure what all countries they pay but I do know they pay people in Canada because the friend who referred me is from Canada and she has made quite a lot of money there. Last time I heard she made over $650 there and that was some months ago. Anyway yeah keep checking this forum. I admit I haven't checked it in a while because I have been way busy but I'm heading over there in a minute to check for new jobs. Hope it helps you and thanks for responding. :)

Your welcome! Yeah I know it sucks that AC doesn't pay for poetry and short stories or I would have made more money by now with them. I love writing short stories and poems. I like writing articles too but short stories and poems are my main love of writing. I hope you find something that will help you get your short stories published and make lots of money too!
