live on campus or off campus?

i'm wondering whether continue living in college dorms or begin to live in private houses.seems both have each advantages

i prefer living in private house.because it costs less.morover ,i want more freedom and privacy,which a private house can ensure.i don't have to share a room with others.the most important,i can get a better study environment.you know, a dorm is usually too noisy for one to concentrate,but a home rarely is.
