How to improve your second language level ?

For one thing,you should use it whereever and whenever and for whatever purposes possible.You could learn the essence of one language and have a idea of how to say and how to mind in that language. Then you should act yourself as a native speaker.Try to do things connected with that language.For instance,if you wanna think about one event,use that language first in your mind and then your mother tougue and compare two-time thought and find out the differences and make progress eventually.
