Try to go through at least the discussion guidelines. In addition to that, I would suggest you to respond to as many discussions as possible before starting many of your own. Try to be descriptive and helpful in your responses giving quality responses. Quality means that your response is to the point, answers all questions in a meaningful way. If you are asked for help, give the relevant details and information with appropriate resources; If asked for opinion, give whatever your honest opinion is, with the reasoning; If a question is asked just reply it meaningfully. You will earn a reputation here and will make some good friends by this way, who will get to your discussions then. Try to make your post a "discussion", by participating with the responders, commenting on their responses and getting back to them when they ask for explanation or some question. If you are not clear about something, ask it. That's what the idea of discussion is. Also, after some suitable time select a best response for your discussion. It gives responders a confidence about you that you are more serious with the discussions and value the participation of the responders. You can upload photos in your profile as well as in discussions and interest areas. Photos added to your profile are not paid by mylot. Whereas all photos added in a discussion and interests are paid by mylot. When you will get to 500 posts, you will also be able to post photos in your responses. you will also be able to copy paste. Try to take care of copy rights of the photos you add. Mylot would have provided you with a referral link, you can use this link to get as many referrals as it pleases. You can add that link as a signature to your outgoing emails, to your blog, or to any other forums you are a member of and you are allowed to post such links. First of all, I would like to welcome you at myLot. So, WELCOME my friend... I hope you'll like your stay here as much as I did. I know how you feel being clueless on everything here in myLot. Luckily for me, I was coached and tutored by a fellow myLoter when I start out here. So, I would like to pass on the gesture to you. But I'm gonna do it one by one OK? Tip to earn number1: If you feel like you can not write any discussion, just try and respond to the ones already posted. And dont give out too short response. Try to make it 3 to 4 lines. That way you'll still earn even during the days when your brain seems to function below its optimum. ;-). I will add you to my list of friends now, what we so to our friends here in myLot is check their discussions out and post a response to them. And oh, if you see people responding to your posts, try to respond 1 or 2 of their posts to. That way you'll repay them back of some sort. Don't forget to add them as friends also. Welcome to mylot. Like most of them said, you will not make a lot of money on mylot. But if you want to earn a little post quality discussions and responses. Try to have four or more sentences in your discussions and responses. Upload a picture when you start a discussion, make sure it is pretaining to the discussion. And yes, check out the FAQ under mylot. Don't count on referrals, most of them are inactive, so they will earn you nothing. Enjoy and happy mylotting!

First you have to response other discussions & in this way you will able to make friends in mylot.When you will read other discussions you can know how to write,other interest etc.After learning those you can srart a good discussion.

first,you should know that,my lot is not a place to earn too much money,and it's just a site to discuss with other people from different countries.because the payment of your discussions or responses is not as high as you think.if you start a discussion or response one,you will get 1 to 5 cents,but you can hardly get 5cents.if your earning is more than 10 dollars,you can get a referral.you can see the aetails in FAQ of mylot.enjoy your mylot time!

Make sure to fill out your interests. It makes it easier to be able to find discussions that you will enjoy, rather than just creating posts for pennies. I also found that adding friends who share the same interests as mine helped me find discussions to reply to.

Hi Jerrybearjr, welcome to mylot. I'm still pertty new here too. I will admit I was sent to this site because I was looking for paid sites, but the money is not that great but ok. I do like reading the post and responding. I have made a few post myself, but I really like reading what others start.
