What's the shortest discussion you've ever seen on My Lot?

probably when i ask questions :)

It is hard to say what the shortest post that I have ever started as I usually create topics that are at least a few sentences long or more. I think early on when I first joined I may have started topics that were one sentence long. I have never posted a one word discussion. Coke or Pepsi is probably the shortest one that I have seen on here. Some topics were only periods as well.

i am also not sure why we need big discussion. as earlier it was short and we use to get more responses. i have seen just poeple saying hi.

About a hundred posts asking 'What is the capital city of Texas' then 'What is the capital city of Ohio' then ... Oh, I can't remember the details now or how many states but it was just a waste of space. What was amazing was some nutter was copy/pasting from Wiki or other encyclopedia website the answers!

i never posted a short discussion in mylot..not a single discussion with just one word or one line.all my discussion have atleast 3-4 lines.actually i am not aware of the connection between mylot earning and length of post!i hate short pot as well as very long post...a 4-6 line is perfect.it will be easy to read!

the shortest one I have seen was '?' as the geading and that again in the description.. What a pathetic effort, actually it wasnt even an effort, yet people had responded to it, silly because i think that it only encourages more of this rubbish..

beautyqueen26 Normally I am long winded. So a discussion that I start will probably never be short. However I have seen "???" which is pretty short other than the title. But this takes the cake. I don't know if you have to type anything into the discussion box. You might only need a title. If you do not have to type anything into the discussion box it will default to "...". If this was not the case. Then "..." was the shortest discussion excluding the title. I say the "..." wins because there is less space take by the characters and there is the possibility that they got away with not putting anything into the box.

the shortest discussion I ever saw was one that just said hi. They were a first time user and received something like 12 responses at the time I cam across it. I jokingly started a discussion with a title "hi, I'm new here" but explaned in the text that I am not actually new, just wanted 12 greets for the day. It didnt' work out so well for me.

Hello beautyqueen26, When I first started, someone already mentioned this to me and so, I guess I am a bit lucky to know it. Sometimes, when I feel bored with those normal discussions I will go and check the newbies' discussions and you will be surprise to see most of them just wrote a very very simple discussion! I came across a member who starts her discussion with "What if..." and when you check the new user discussions, you will only see hers with that 'colorful questions' of 'what if....' The simplest discussion I have ever seen was also started by a newbie who wrote a title of the discussion only! Nothing else! There was another new member who wrote nothing at all and started a discussion. One that I saw was like this : Title : ssshhhddddsss Description : *nothing* It is funny but sometimes, when you see too many of them, you will get a bit irritated and discouraging. I am not sure whether they don't understand the rules or why exactly they did like that. As for me, I am willing to help them to know better about My Lot. It is not that I know everything here, but I like to guide them so that it will make our days wonderful while mylotting here. Well, I am still learning too. Many things that I don't know and I am grateful to have good friends here *smiles*

i think the shortest discussion i've seen is when one just posted "hi!" in the title and also "hi..." in the post. the shortest post i made was about two lines. i didn't know before you have to write more and quality in order to earn more.

i'm newbie in MyLot so i don't know the shortest discussion here. I'll try to find one if I could. Hehehe. God Bless.
