Linkin Park or U2?!

Well I have songs that I like that U2 did and same with Linkin Park...but what I like most with the Linkin Park they have their own style of music combining rap, rock, and everything in their music and I like what they are doing so much...my kids love them too...I have my dvd of their concer and my little boy watch it every morning.

Linkin Park's new album has changed quite a bit from their usual style. Although when I first listened to the album i only liked a few songs, I have now grown to love it. Some songs are pretty soft but still good! I have to agree though, Meteora was the best album they made! I like that song December too though.

I would have to say linken park is my all time favorite band. I have every cd, and every low key song not put on cd. I would have to say this "change" in music is a product of them growing and evolving. It has been several years since these angry young men produced hybrid theory ya know. IN those years i have changed alot as im sure all people do, so why not a band? While i will admit that in "minutes to midnight" i find myself not really getting into the last few tracks the overall cd is a good cd. I do think meteora was there best one so far however. You can usually feel the mood of the moment in the music and when it was made. Minutes to midnight has lost some of the anger and brought in a little more feelings of sdaness and betrayal. It has also mixed things up a little by putting in just a slight heavier touch in a few of the songs as well. I think in "minutes to midnight" Linken park is exposing more feelings and personal views on life than just angry bitterness. Linken park still rocks and i hope they always will. I will be 90 and still jamming to "shut up"

their new album sounds really weird. I love Linkin Park and all...but their new album sounds really different. They sound like a boy band in some of their songs!
