Do you think he honestly cared about Harry or was everything for the greater good?

I think Dumbledore cared about Harry immensely. Even though he may have ended Harry in dangerous situations, caring about someone isn't always about sheltering him and protecting him. Dumbledore knew Harry had to go his own way, and he also knew Harry would WANT to help everyone even if it cost him his own life.
The fact that Dumbledore caused Harry trouble doesn't mean he didn't care about him. One thing I liked about the final book is that it showed Dumbledore wasn't perfect or all powerful. It showed that even the wisest of people make mistakes and do bad things sometimes. We all hurt people we love at times, but it doesn't change the fact that we love them. Dumbledore made mistakes just like everyone else would, but I don't think he ever stopped wanting the best for Harry.

yes. I think he really cares for harry. maybe sometimes he never told harry the whole story just piece by piece but I think that suppose to make harry know it by himself. dumbledore gave everything to protect harry from voldemort which way only he knows sometimes that make us think why? but for me dumbledore really cares for him a lot.

Yes, he cared very much. The "Greater Good" has often brought a greater evil to mankind, but that doesn't mean it does not exist. Dumbledore was aware that when revealingg Harry too much of all he knew, Harry would loose the only thing that could save wizards, muggles and above of all, himself: being Harry and acting by his own decisions. Dumbledore trusted in Harry, that's how he showed his love, and he protected him by different and unexpected means, not at least through the impressive bond of friendship between Harry, Ron and Hermione.
To let Harry act on his own judgment and responsiblity, was the greates demostrance of care, from the first to the last book.

I think Dumbledore cared a great deal about Harry. That's why he didn't just give him all of the information in the beginning. He wanted Harry to be ready, and I think he was hoping that Harry would never need to know the information. Like maybe he hoped that he could find a way to destroy Voldemort without Harry having to be involved.
