I did like the movie "Forest Gump" starring Tom Hanks..
It shows that people with lower IQ's can do great things.
He was brave and stayed true to his best friends and girl.

you're right it's not the IQ...but the determination and the heart...to do great things.

I have watched this movie. I especially love the words from him when he said, "Life is just like a chocolate. You will never know it...". I think that it makes sense to say like that. Life is really like this. I still have this VCD with me.

i find it ok, but i'm not into movies a lot. but my younger sister is nuts about forrest gump that she even bought a copy of it and watched it several times in the last few years. she found it so wonderful, script and some funny lines.
i've watched it in cable but didn't quite finish the whole movie.

Forrest Gump is one of the best movies i have seen so far. its my all time favorite. Right from the casting to direction to the screenplay - i have loved it all. i think, Tom Hanks has been stupendous in portraying the autistic character of Forrest. The interminglw of history and present was great. i liked the Vietnam episode and also "Run Forrest run...'
i have loved the whole of it. its simple in appeal and the continuity with the feather flying from the hands of Forest's son is awesome.
Thank you.

I remember when this film came out I avoided it totally thinking it would be a sickly american film. However, when I finally watched it a few years ago I thought it was excellent.
I thought Tom Hanks was brilliant and the story line was sad, happy and very moving in places. A real feel good factor film!!

Run Forest Run- It was ok ~ I watched it a couple of times when it first came out- It was different- Not something I could watch over and over again- but it was ok. I liked his other movies better- like Big.

I enjoyed watching it. I thought it had some really great parts in it. Hanks did a great job but I have liked him better in some of his other movies. What I liked best about the movie was the injection of all the historical events into the story line. I thought it was funny.

I have to say that this is not a movie which I could understand at first. The first time I watched it was when I studied in the university. At that time I didn't think it was an interesting movie. It was somewhat boring for me.
And few years ago I watched it again, I seemed to understand it and I liked this movie. Maybe when a person who has some experience, then he/she can understand this movie well. I also felt moved to it.
