There is a lot of talk about where to make money and how to make money on myLot, but mostly it's an endless string of sign up for this and sign up for that. Well, I say enough already. Only a handful of us have anything useful to add to the mix (you know who you are, right?), and these select few don't waste your time or mine with a lot of referral links to programs that may or may not pay us to do something. Better that the links provided offer some value or insight to our fellow mylotters than trying to sell us something, am I right? I recently found a site that is all about Affiliate Marketing and how to do it correctly and effectively. I received an article from this site in my inbox today, and I wanted to share it with you so that you can benefit from it, too.
No hype, no sales talk, I don't even want you to sign up for anything, I just want you to have the advantage of learning something about marketing on the Internet. To see what I'm talking about, please read the article found here:

Reserve your responses and comments until you have read this article, because I really want to know what you think of it, rather than my post.

A really good mentor will tell their "pupils" to "brand" themselves, or market themselves, BEFORE trying to sell anything whether it's a product or a program. I personally would rather hear the story, get to know the person, so to speak, have a reason to trust what that individual has to say, so this article is important. Even some of these copy cat websites with a person's picture on it are missing the point of this article. Very good recommended reading.
