The World Series

The braves have a talented team this year, its just a young team. The Braves have the talent to make the World Series but the teams in AL are tough this year so it will be hard for them to win it all. The braves need to get better pitching on the back end of their rotation.

I hope they win the World Series, but I don't think they quite have the team this year to do it. I think with the recent trades the Braves will be able to pass up the Mets/Phillies. I would think they would have trouble getting too far in the playoffs though. You never know tho, baseball is all about who gets hot in the playoffs. If the Jones, Teixiera, Mccann, etc. get hot they will be tough to stop. Smoltz and Hudson would have to do huge things as well with some help from the bullpen.

I have the confidence that they can win the World Series this year.

I think that they have a chance at winning this year. I really hope that they do as me and my wife really like the braves. (wait that's you)

I am a life-long Braves fan, but I think they have no chance at the World Series. That have one of the best lineups in the game, but their pitching is VERY thin. Once you get past Smoltz and Hudson they have nobody who can be relied on to keep them in the game. The irony is, once they got to the playoffs, having just Smoltz and Hudson would be and advantage! But, right now it's 2 days with a good chance to win then 2 or 3 days they need to score 7 or 8 runs to have a good chance to win!
