how many of u have a real bad back pain... how do u deal with it..??

iam jus' 22 i know... but still i hav a bad lower back pain... n it hurts almost everytime i go for a long walk or u lift soemthin' slightly heavy, i didnt ahve thsi problem a few years back ... but since i have to travel to college its getting worse... so how many o fu ahve this sort of a problem and dont you think its a little unusual to have thsi pain at this age...! any suggestions how do u deal with the pain or to reduce it...?
