Have you guys heard of AMY LEE's epilepsy campaign OUT OF THE SHADOWS. Personally, I am an avid supporter. I have epilepsy and I know that freaks a lot of people out because they don't take the time to fully understand it. Amy Lee feels the same way. She is using this campaign to make people aware of this disease and how it REALLY works. Take a look and show your support.

I'm 37yr old male, two children ,m not living with me. jan, 10th 2004. I was hit in a night club. sucker punched. laserated my cerabellum, had stroke two seizures.
coma for several days. three + yrs later still no help freom our florida goverment. just medical bills paid at a discount. I need help, or assistance

I am sorry to hear about your misfortune my friend. I was born with epilepsy so I know what the seizures are like. they come at you so fast and so unexpected. It can cause a lot of problems. The only thing I can recommend you do is talk to someone at the Epilepsy Foundation. Here is a link to their website:

They can help you with several aspects of epilepsy including how to live with epilepsy, medications, surgeries, new findings, and local foundations/groups in your area. I hope this helps you out a little bit. It has helped me deal with my worries since I was about 10 years old. They can link you to people who suffer from seizures just like you.
