Do you have your own online shop? Sell things on ebay? What sort of things do you sell or create to sell?
I don't sell anything online as of yet but I'm thinking of selling some of the baby and pet quilts that I've made online and maybe making a little online shop out of it.

I don't as of yet, but I was thinking of selling crocheted baby blankets. I think I could do very well at this..I would also like to make baby blankets from material. I have made pet pads for our local Humane Society..They turned out nice...I have done ones for the holidays. I would make 24 at a time. That is how many cages they had.. I have been thinking about it, all I have to do is put it into action....I think your idea is wonderful. We think alike..(no swooning)LOL

Wow! That would be awesome to sell the crib sets. You wouldn't think they would cost so much..I have never quilted..I like making pet beds..The designs are endless....You are going to end up in a body cast if you don't pull yourself together, young lady...If we are going into business together you need to behave yourself...LOL...Last year I made 20 scarves for my sons friends. They were 6 ft. long for the guys and 4 ft long for the girls and I made them with two different color of yarn..Each person picked his/her own colors..They turned out really nice. I should try to add scarves to my list of things to sell...I am going to be very busy...

I'm trying but it's so hard to maintain my cool, lol. I can only imagine the swooning if we move past this "best friends" stage. I would end up in the ER for sure!
You made 24 scarfs, wow. That is pretty impressive! I've had selling on the brain the last day or so too. I was trying to figure out how to price the quilts and found such a variation online from $30 - $175.

I wish I could crochet, my mom does but last time I asked her to make me a scarf she started it and I had it 2 summers later, lol. I'm drawn to baby quilts, I want to leran how to make crib sets. I was looking at some online, handmade and they go for $200-300. I thought my word, for such little people their stuff sure does cost alot. Pet beds are fun and easy and you can make so many designs. LOL swooning, almost swooned right on my butt in the kitchen today, lol.

I have an "Etsy" shop where I sell some of my crafts, then of course I just finished designing my own on-line craft site...I got this offer from e-Bay since I'm a member that between now and August 5th one can post up to three items for sale..FREE..no fees --so might get that going--the I have my photo websites to entice people to buy my images...My this has been a busy month for me!! LOL

I've had one sale with Etsy--not bad----Oh, boy do I know what you mean about e-bay though....I've been mainly a buyer...not that I'm complaining as I did get some terrific bargains even with replacement ink cartridges for my printer...so much cheaper than what I would have paid normally even with shipping costs involved...One REAL bargain I thought was getting THE SECRET DVD ..the extended version listed for about $40.00--I bid on it and got it for $10--then a replacement Mustard Seed brooch pin that was an exact double of my great=grandmother's for about $4.00 --oh yes know the lure of e-bay--LOL..but do want to try selling now...my name over there is similar to here...pyewackete==I have a "ten" star rating there..so I can take advantage of this offer to place things on there for free for this trail period they are having.

I have not successfully sold anything online. I have tried, but something goes wrong each time. I have some things I bought to sell, and should do so. I may see you there.

I know what you mean, same thing here. I used to sell on ebay but it got to be a headache. I'm going to try that free site. I'm thinking of trying Cafe Press too.

I sell gifts, home decor, and wedding items on my website. I also have 3 direct sales companies that I Rep with.
But you can put your quilts online for free at ecrater .com. It also gives you a free shopping cart. I know with ebay you a lot of small fees that seem to add up. But with Ecrater it's completely free.

That is great, wedding items are good sellers. I have a friend that will be moving to my area soon and she wants us to start a wedding shop/planning business. I will try that Ecrater, thanks! Yes ebay does add up and even if you don't sell, you still end up paying up.

I don't really "sell" anything on-line, although I do show people how they can shop on-line (or over the phone if they prefer) and save money on some of the everyday basics that we normall pay a small fortune for at the grocery store.
I have friends that have done e-bay and been successful, and others that have not. I don't really use e-bay, so I'm not sure what all it has.
I do crochet afghans (baby and full-size) that I want to get into a craft fair with, but I don't have enough right now.
Best of luck to you!!!
