My cat was attacked!

I heard a racket in my front yard this morning and went rushing out to find two dogs attacking one of my cats. These dogs have roamed the neighborhood loose for some time. I have called the animal control and reported it.
As to Sissy, she has a chewed-up leg which is also broken. We have three choices--very expensive surgery, (which we can't really afford) with a long, painful recovery; amputation or putting her down. We are trying to make the decision now. This is the cat who was abused so badly as a kitten, she lost her eye. We adopted her from the Humane Society and she has turned out to be such a loving little thing. Please pray for us and our baby. I will keep you posted

This is really terrible SusieQ, and I hope your kitty will make it. I have 6 myself and if
something happened to any of them I know how bad I feel and do whatever I can to help the dear, and unfortunately when one gets ill, all of them catch the virus (flu) and than the costs are tremendoesly high here, but what can we do. getting an insurance for 6 is also very expensive, so we dont and pray the kitties will stay healthy and well.
I feel for you and for your cat, i really do and hope you'll find the right solution

The animal control office didn't call back today. I will call again tomorrow and every day until they patrol out it. I think the dogs are wild, but we will see. Thanks for your reply.
